Gateway Access Service

Our Gateway Access Service (GAS) delivers low-cost business and residential Internet access using Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE). Based on asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) technology, this service provides access to high-speed Internet access, remote LAN activity and other applications over a customer’s existing telephone lines. And unlike cable-based Internet, our dedicated loop prevents degraded performance when other users are online at the same time.

GAS is available on two different platforms – copper and fiber-based networks – so you can meet the needs of all your customers, including those using standard legacy equipment.

GAS also offers:

• A shared permanent virtual circuit
• Download speeds up to 100 Mbps downstream for residential customers and up to 50 Mbps downstream for business customers
• Upload speeds up to 10 Mbps (both residential and business customers)
• Advanced G.INP technology to ensure optimal end-user performance
• Dynamic IP addressing
• Password authentication with access to multiple destination networks
• Simple and secure login to an online tool that can automatically analyze and adjust speeds for optimal performance

High Speed Access

Our High Speed Access (HSA) service delivers an end-to-end Ethernet LAN-based solution that is best suited for medium to large business customers with demanding network requirements. HSA is available on two different platforms – copper and fiber-based networks – so you can meet the needs of all your customers, including those using standard legacy equipment.
